It’s a day of learning, laughter, growth, and those little “I did it!” moments that make the Eagles experience special.11:00 AM – 12:00 PM🎹 Instrument 1Practical coaching on the child’s first instrument.12:00 PM – 12:40 PM♫ Music TheoryUnderstanding the language and structure behind music.12:40 PM – 1:00 PM▶ Performance ScreenLearning through observation, imitation and performance analysis.1:00 PM – 1:30 PM☕ BreakTime to eat, relax, interact and reset.1:30 PM – 2:00 PM★ Soft Skill LessonsBuilding confidence, focus and communication.2:00 PM – 3:00 PM🎸 Instrument 2Practical coaching on the child’s second instrument.Four things guide the journey. These are the ideas parents should understand before the first lesson even begins.Small enough to be seen.At Eagles, classes are intentionally kept small. Our 5:1 class policy means every child receives focused attention, individual correction, feedback and personal guidance throughout the lesson.Developing the child behind the instrument.Musical ability is only one part of the journey. Alongside lessons, students develop skills that help them learn better, express themselves and confidently stand before others. You should know what your child is learning.Your child’s Blue Book helps you follow the learning journey after class. Teachers update it so you can see what has been covered, where your child is and what comes next.Progress should be visible.Students are assessed monthly, and parents receive a Monthly Assessment Report (MAR). It shows what your child can do independently, what needs attention and the next learning focus. Towards the end of the session — around Month 5/6 — an End-of-Session Assessment Report (EAR) gives a fuller picture of development. An optional pathway to take learning further.Parents may choose an Internal Performance Examination — Recital, or a recognised External Examination such as ABRSM, when the child is ready. The journey should be memorable too.Eagles is not designed to feel like one long timetable of lessons. Students may enjoy themed days, creative activities and special Academy moments that help them connect, enjoy learning and build positive childhood memories.Sometimes, the journey goes beyond Eagles. As students grow in skill, confidence and readiness, selected students may receive opportunities to perform or participate on special platforms outside the Academy. These are selective opportunities and are not guaranteed to every student. You should know what is happening — and what comes next.Parents are an important part of the journey. We keep you informed about assessments, progress reports, examination opportunities, preparation requirements, special activities, milestones and next steps. So, what are you really enrolling for?Yes — music lessons. And a journey designed to make learning visible, exciting and memorable.
